South Brunswick, population 37,734 is located in Middlesex County along the Route 1 corridor, covers over 41 square miles. The villages of Kingston, Kendal Park, Monmouth Junction, Dayton and Deans are all in South Brunswick. Its excellent location and easy access via Route 1 and the New Jersey Turnpike have resulted in continuing residential and industrial growth. South Brunswick has enjoyed both residential and commercial expansion. Rental options include single family homes, town homes and apartments. New Jersey's Economic Development Authority expanded the state-of-the-art Technology Center of New Jersey, a research office park that fosters business development in the telecommunications, biotech and pharmaceutical fields.
The township is services by Routes 1, 27 and 130 and continues to experience growth. Commuters use the New Brunswick train station which services New York, Trenton and point in between. Despite its rapid growth, South Brunswick has taken preservation seriously. The township has purchased 300 acres of open space most of which is used for recreational purposes.
